Description:
Program Manager for the Patient Safety and Process Improvement will be responsible for driving the patient safety and quality agenda for the department and collaborative assigned. Maintains employees in continuous survey readiness. Promotes safe care by keeping patient safety as a focus of all unit operations and clinical practices. Will serve as a clinical consultant to peers in area of specialty for health care system.
Estimated range for the position is $89,786.05-134,679.08/yr depending on experience.
Qualifications:
Bachelors of Science in Nursing Required: Master of Science in Nursing preferred. Must hold a specialty-specific certification applicable to the perioperative domain, such as CNOR, CPAN, CAPA, CSSM, CNAMB, CBSPD, HSPA, etc. Must have a strong clinical background and at least 5 years of RN clinical experience. Ability to demonstrate systems thinking and skill in driving outcomes utilizing project management tools and ability. Program Manager for the Patient Safety and Process Improvement will have significant experience and knowledge of national standards, core measures, best practice guidelines and the principles and practice of safety science.
