Kirby Bates Associates has been exclusively retained by DermaRite Medical, a nationally recognized provider of advanced wound care and clinical nutrition products, to conduct a national search for their next Vice President, Clinical Education Services.
DermaRite Medical, a division of SionBrands, is seeking an experienced and innovative Vice President, Clinical Education Services (VP) to join its executive leadership team. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President, Clinical Services (SVP), the VP will provide strategic oversight for the design, delivery and evaluation of clinical education programs that enhance customer engagement, support product adoption, improve patient outcomes, and drive organizational growth.
The VP will serve as a trusted partner and "second-in-command" to the SVP. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Sales, Clinical, Marketing, Product Development, Regulatory Affairs, and Executive Leadership to create and deliver innovative educational solutions for customers across long-term care, home health, hospice, post-acute care, and wound care settings. The ideal candidate is a dynamic clinician, educator, and leader who can blend clinical expertise with customer engagement and commercial strategy, while helping shape the future direction of DermaRite Medical.
Opportunity Highlights:
- Develop and execute a national clinical education strategy aligned with organizational growth and customer engagement objectives.
- Partner closely with sales leadership to provide clinical sales support, customer education, and product adoption strategies.
- Design and implement innovative evidence-based education programs, competency assessments, webinars, videos, e-books, clinical tools, and digital learning solutions.
- Lead large-scale customer onboarding and implementation initiatives, including multi-state education and product launch programs.
- Build strong relationships with customers, industry leaders, and key stakeholders while serving as a trusted clinical resource.
- Leverage learning technologies, virtual platforms, and data analytics to enhance educational effectiveness and customer outcomes.
- Represent a highly respected wound care organization with a strong reputation for clinical excellence, innovation, and customer partnership at industry conferences and professional association forums.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing preferred.
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Experience in long-term care, home health, hospice, post-acute care, or medical device industries preferred.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Wound care experience with certification preferred - Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN), or Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nurse (WOCN), or Certified Wound Specialist (CWS)
- Minimum of five years of progressive leadership experience in clinical education, healthcare sales support, or related healthcare leadership roles.
- Demonstrated success designing, leading, and evaluating large-scale clinical education programs and customer engagement initiatives.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, accreditation requirements, reimbursement, and customer purchasing dynamics.
- Ability to travel approximately 20% nationwide for customer meetings, conferences, and business initiatives.
